Whilst we recognise that General Practitioners
and allied Health Professionals have an awareness of most medical products, it is unreasonable to
expect them to have a complete understanding of the technology behind every new medical device
released on to the market.
The e-cell, released in 2006, is
registered with the TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration in Australia) as a Medical Device
Class 2A (ARTG Listed ID: 125537) and designed to speed the healing of musculoskeletal
disorders.
Even though over 10,000 units have been
sold in Australia with a 97% success rate and used by doctors and health practitioners around the
world, many have not yet had first hand contact with this new and innovative technology. As a
consequence and quite rightly, they may hesitate to recommend use of the e-cell until they have
personal knowledge and experience.

its history and the science behind it. However, we have created a special page for Health
