e-cell™ technology (Energy Medicine)
is based on the concept of Synthetic Exercise, and integrates
the three FDA approved waveforms into a treatment sequence that
complements the body's own process of tissue regeneration
following injury.

Pain and disuse due to
degeneration or injury decreases the electrical currents normally produced in
the body's tissue to drive the healing process. The e-cell™ simply mimics these stimulation
signals, thereby increasing the natural healing process.
Through the use of Therapy Cards, each containing a specific treatment protocol
for different areas of the body, e-cell™ simulates exercise, the basis for
speeding up (accelerating) the bodies own healing process.
Using a process called bio-mimetics, e-cell™ transmits these signals to the area being
treated, creating an environment which simulates exercise at cellular level,
opening up the voltage-gated protein channels in the cellular membrane.
In other words, the cells of the body believe they are undergoing
exercise and respond accordingly. This results in a much speedier recovery
and relief from pain than the normal period of inactivity forced on us by
injury, pain or immobility.
The body goes through four phases in its healing process. The Cellular
Response, The Vascular Phase, the Proliferation Phase and the Maturation
(Remodeling) Phase.
The Vascular Therapy Card encourages cellular response and vascularisation.
However, each therapy card carries a cellular + vascular phase, proliferation
and maturation phase; the four phases of natural healing, appropriate to the
area being treated.
When the body is injured or experiences a degeneration of muscle or tissue, it
undergoes the four phases of repair that we mentioned.. During the first phase,
the body clears out debris through the circulatory and lymph system. This is
called the Cellular Phase.
During the Vascular Phase new capillaries are formed, supplying oxygen and
nutrients to the wound site. The next stage is called the Proliferation Phase.
During this period, scar tissue is formed together with a regeneration of
tissue and muscle filaments. In the final Maturation Phase, restructuring of
tissue and alignment of collagen fibers occur in order to provide tensile
strength.
Pain relief normally comes when the healing process is near completion.
However, pain may be reduced during the vascular phase, reducing even further
at the proliferation and maturation phase.
